The Transformers

Information about the life of the discharge on the eve and during the Cybertron Wars is very fragmentary; we can only assume that he is one of the oldest Decepticons, as he is the only one who remembers the Quintessons ^[4] . Arrived on Earth as part of the third echelon of the Decepticons ^[5] . Participated mainly in collective operations.
Dissatisfied with his modest position, he helped another trehrezhimnik , the Astrop train , together with the Destroyer, organize a coup, as a result of which the Decepticon leader Megatron and his eternal rival Scandalist were displaced and nearly destroyed. This putsch was quickly suppressed, but no sanctions were imposed on its participants (except for the fact that Megatron nearly killed them all in a shootout at the stadium) ^[6] .

The rank participated in the assault on the city of Autobots in 2005 . He practically pointed his gun at Hotrod (the future leader of the Autobots) and, if he had not shown irrational slowness, he could radically change the course of history. After the alleged death, Megatron again tried to claim his leadership rights, but again to no avail, and was forced to come to terms with the fact that the Scandalist became the new leader of the Decepticons ^[7] . However, when Galvatron appeared, the Department immediately supported him and began to faithfully serve him.

In difficult times of anarchy, the Department, the only one of all the Decepticons, did not go to the service of the Quintessons and remained on Chaar to wait for the return of Galvatron. When Galvatron decided to enter into an alliance with the enemies, the Department, learning about the intention of the Quintessons to regain power over Cybertron , after an unsuccessful attempt to reason Galvatron, turned to Rodimus Prime . Together with the latter, he tried to stop the Sharkticon squad sent by the Quintessons in order to start a device that disconnected all transformers. Although the Department refused to offer Rodimus to join the Autobots, Galvatron did not forgive him for disobedience. In the American series, it is reported that the discharge was expelled from the Decepticons and went into exile ^{[8] [9]} .

The sworn enemy of the Rank among the Autobots is Tomahawk , also transforming into a tank.

In 2011, under the leadership of the Six-Charger, along with other "three-mode guns" he fought against the Autobots on Earth ^[10] , then was transferred to the assault of Cybertron . The discharge is included, along with the Skandalist, Chernaya Vdova and Lagnat , in the Megatron-led team of the Decepticon ship, which is chasing the “shuttle” of Autobots in space who accidentally discovered a container with Ollspark during the repair of the “space bridge” ^[12] . Then, after 50 Earth years, along with Lagnat arrives on Earth in order to track down Megatron, who was missing during the attack on the Autobots. Considering them guilty of the death of Megatron, he “orders” the Autobot commander Optimus Prime to the transformer killer Lockdown ^[13] . Then, having established (through Lagnat) a connection with the head of Megatron, located in Isaac Samdek’s laboratory, he receives an order to attack the Autobot ship scuttled in Lake Erie , near Detroit, and seize the Allspark. However, the Autobots attacked the attackers so strongly that both Decepticons were literally torn to pieces. The scandalist found them and promised to repair them, but for this he demanded that they take an oath of allegiance to him ^[14] . The discharge and Lagnat were forced to agree, but at the first opportunity they again sided with Megatron. But in the end, he was arrested.

In the Bumblebee movie, Blitzwing is transformed into an American F-4 Phantom II fighter and deprives the Bi-127 of its voice, but later Blitzwing himself was destroyed by an autobot.

It is a “three-mode”, that is, it has three alt-forms: a robot, a fighter plane and a tank .
The ability to attack both from the ground and from the air makes the discharge a very dangerous opponent. Its original (Cybertron) appearance is unknown. Arriving on Earth, he, like other transformers, disguised himself as military equipment, which was at that time in the arsenal of the earthly armies. This is the Japanese Mitsubishi Type 74 tank and the Soviet MiG-25 fighter . ^[15]

In fighter mode, it can reach a speed of 2.7 times the speed of sound. ^[16] It has a very large and diverse weaponry. In addition to the usual laser rifle, it can use rockets in airplane mode, and fragmentation shells - in tank mode. In robot mode, he uses a sword to fight at close range.

It is distinguished by boastfulness and posturing, but at the same time it has a sense of common sense. He enjoys his superiority over conventional two-position transformers, likes to quickly switch from one mode to another. The motto is attributed: "Destroy, and then think."

On a ten-point scale, his qualities are evaluated as follows: intelligence - 5, strength - 8, courage - 7, skill - 7, speed - 9, rank among comrades - 6, firepower - 7, stamina - 7.

When the Quintessons were about to betray the Decepticons and destroy them, Blitzwing was forced to go over to the Autobots to stop the traitors. After the plan failed, Blitzwing returned to the Decepticons and helped Galvatron repel Rodimus Prime's attack ^[17]

Transformers Devastation

Appears as a boss on the bridge. For the entire game, it occurs twice. In his first appearance, he fought in the altforms of a tank and aircraft, after which he fought with the Autobots on the river bank near the bridge in robot mode. The second time appears on the cybertron where is the first line of defense on the way to the megatron. Also appears in test mode.
