According to other interpretations, the epithet is from the expression palleyne to dori (“throw a spear”) or from the island of Pallena [1] ; or from the beating ( pallain ) of the heart of the older Dionysus , which she stole [2] .
It is also used as a designation of the goddess Athena [3] . The Pallas grove was among the feacs [4] .
The image in the image of the Pallas is an image in armament. In the name of Pallas, the word “ palladium ” (a wooden image of a goddess with a miraculous effect) occurred. The city that owned palladium was considered under the auspices of the goddess. About palladium stored in Troy , there was a legend telling that he had fallen from heaven. The descendants of Aeneas brought him to Rome , and since then the palladium was kept in the temple of Vesta .
Pallas asteroid is named after Pallas .
