Week Against Homophobia ( Week Against Homophobia ) is an annual campaign held for the first time in the framework of the Council of Europe campaign “Everyone is Different - Everyone is Equal” ( eng. “All Different - All Equal” ).

History
For the first time, the rally was part of the Council of Europe campaign “Everyone is Different - Everyone is Equal” in early March 2007 , the central events of which took place in Warsaw [1] [2] .
From March 26 to March 31, 2007, the rally was held in Russia with the support of the East and Central European Network for the implementation of the campaign “Everyone is Different - Everyone is Equal” and the participation of the Youth Network against Racism and Intolerance, the Civil Action Movement “Thunderstorm”, and the “Left Antifascist Front” ”, “ Socialist Resistance ” , a number of LGBT organizations ( Russian LGBT Network , LesbiPARTYya, LGBT Rights, LGBT Ministry“ Nuntiare et Recreare ” (LGBT Christians), Legal Information Agency“ LINA ”), various initiative groups. In Moscow , St. Petersburg , Rostov-on-Don , Voronezh , Krasnodar , Samara , various informational and educational events, film screenings, discussions, presentations of human rights projects, seminars and round tables were held. The goal was "to pay attention to the problem of homophobia and its danger to the whole society ... to respond to homophobic rhetoric by creating a space without discrimination and hatred towards people."
In 2008, the coalition of the Youth Network against Racism and Intolerance, the Russian LGBT Network , the La Sky Project , the Thunderstorm Civil Action Movement and a number of regional human rights, LGBT organizations and initiative groups held a second campaign from March 25 to 31 , which covered Moscow , St. Petersburg , Rostov-on-Don , Izhevsk , Chelyabinsk , Petrozavodsk , Voronezh , Tyumen , Omsk and Samara [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] .
From March 23 to 29, 2009, the Russian LGBT Network initiated the third week against homophobia in Russia, events took place in 13 regions of Russia: St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Pskov, Arkhangelsk, Volgograd, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Perm, Tyumen, Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk.
The Fourth Russian Week was held from April 5 to 11, 2010 in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk, Novodvinsk, Petrozavodsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Tyumen, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Chelyabinsk. In Moscow, its organizer (as well as the next two) was the Rainbow Association .
In 2011, the Youth Apple made a statement in support of the Week against Homophobia. [9]
