Tanki , Tancah - Mayan civilization city. Located in the modern Mexican state of Quintana Roo , a few kilometers from Tulum .

The first Tankakh buildings were erected in the late classical and early stages of the post-classical period (about 770–1200 CE), some in the next two centuries. Many late-classical buildings have wall murals, which in their style resemble pictures of the Madrid Codex , currently stored in Madrid .
