Prayer for Ukraine ( Ukrainian: Prayer for Ukraine ) is a sculptural composition in Baturin , which depicts figures of 5 hetmans of Ukraine, during which Baturin was the capital of Ukraine. The central place of the composition is the figure of Hetman Mazepa . Also in 2009, it was planned to establish the figure of the Most Holy Theotokos over the hetmans, covering the hetmans with her Veil [1] . The composition is located on the territory of the National Reserve " Hetman's Capital ."

The hetmans are depicted on the monument: Demyan Mnogogreshny , Ivan Samoilovich , Ivan Mazepa , Philip Orlik and Kirill Razumovsky .
The composition was performed by the Honored Architect of Ukraine B. Mazur and M. Mazur with state funds.
On January 22, 2009, the monument was opened by President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko . The opening ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Raisa Bogatyreva, Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasyunik , Minister of Defense Yuri Yekhanurov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Ogryzko, Minister of Family, Youth and Sports Yury Pavlenko, Governors of the Kiev Region Vera Ulyanchenko and Dnipropetrovsk Region Viktor Bondar [2] .
