It is located in the south-eastern part of the region 16 km south-west of Ugra , 9 km north-west of the Znamenka - Spas-Demensk highway , on the banks of the Roslovka river. 16 km northeast of the village is the Ugra railway station on the Torzhok - Bryansk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
