It is located in the south-eastern part of the region 13 km south-west of Ugra , 4 km north-west of the Znamenka - Spas-Demensk highway , on the banks of the Ugra River. 13 km north-east of the village is the Ugra railway station on the Torzhok - Bryansk line .


History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
