It is located in the southeastern part of the region 16 km west of Ugra , 12 km northwest of the Znamenka - Spas-Demensk highway , on the banks of the Gordota River . 16 km east of the village is the Ugra railway station on the Torzhok - Bryansk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
