It is located in the southeastern part of the region 11 km north of Ugra , 12 km southwest of the P132 Vyazma - Kaluga - Tula - Ryazan highway , on the banks of the Yelenka River. 3 km north-east of the village is the Godunovka railway station on the Torzhok - Bryansk line .


History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
