It is located in the southeastern part of the region 24 km northeast of Ugra , 5.5 km north of the P132 Vyazma - Kaluga - Tula - Ryazan highway , on the banks of the Sigosa River. 20 km west of the village is the Godunovka railway station on the Torzhok - Bryansk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
