It is located in the south-eastern part of the region, 23 km south-west of Ugra , 8 km west of the Znamenka - Spas-Demensk highway , on the banks of the Ugra River. 25 km southeast of the village is the Baskakovka railway station on the Torzhok - Bryansk line .
History
