Content
Story
About the struggle of serfs and soldiers of the Right-Bank Ukraine, led by the national hero Karmelyuk ( Ustim Yakimovich Karmelyuk (1787-1835)) with the guides of Podolia and the pansky yoke. The main character, Karmelyuk, kills the cruel manager of his landowner and runs into the woods, becoming a national hero and avenger.
