Story
Despite the gloomy provocative title of the picture (“Casus Belli” - “an occasion to declare war”), it is a film about love, and by genre it is spring-like lyrical and even adventurous comedy. Having lived for many years in a happy marriage with his wife, the hero - a gentleman and general - suddenly found that he had ceased to understand the actions and mental torment of his wife. To understand the situation, he hires a detective. He instructs to monitor his other half to a woman who, by her character, looks like his own wife. So, casus belli - a formal reason for declaring war on a love front is found. From this moment, the life of the three characters becomes unpredictable. As if drinking the elixir of youth, the heroes begin the battle for happiness and love.
