Story
A detachment of Soviet paratroopers, while serving in an African country, rescues a little boy from death. The captain of the detachment brings him to the USSR and leaves him in an orphanage in Poltava (this is mentioned in the film) Negro is given the common Russian name Vasya, and the boy grows up without even knowing who he really is.
It takes several years, a young black orphanage Vasya meets a charming Ukrainian girl and falls in love with her without memory. Young people share a passion for music , the guy plays beautiful instruments, and the girl dreams of becoming a singer. Ironically, the charming stranger is the daughter of the very captain who once saved the life of a little Negro. And here it turns out that Vasya is the king of the faraway African country of Faklendii.
