Album information was published on November 4 in The Prodigy's official newsletter, and was confirmed that day by Liam on The Zane Lowe Show on BBC Radio 1 . The group said the new album will revert to its “old, but frame-cutting” roots [4] . They also indicated that they would collaborate with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and James Rushent of Does It Offend You, Yeah? [4] , however, noted that they would not record with other vocalists. [5] The album was released on CD , CD / DVD set, Double Vinyl , in digital format for download, and on an exclusive seven-inch vinyl box set, which will include five seven-inch vinyls, CD / DVD, bonus CD, poster , stickers and stencils . [6]
The first track, also known as Invaders Must Die, was published on the band’s official website on November 26 , which coincides with its first public appearance on the Zane Lowe's show as “The World's Hottest Record.” Omen - the first single of the album, was released on February 16, 2009 [2]
To support the release of the album, the band will embark on a nine-day UK tour with support from Dizzee Rascal and Fight Like Apes.
