Bolshaya ( Bolka Bolshaya ) is a river in the Rostov region . Length 152 km, basin area 2160 km² [2] . Left tributary of Kalitva ( Don basin). The food is mostly snow. In the upper reaches it dries up. It has a very winding course.

Current
It originates on the southern slopes of the Don Ridge , flows into Kalitva , 93 km from its mouth, between Olkhova and Berezova .
It flows through the Tarasovsky , Kasharsky and Bokovsky districts of the Rostov region .
Tributaries
The river receives two large left tributaries - Mechetka (Mechetnaya) and Nagolnaya (largest); the latter, according to V.V. Bogachev, should be considered the main river.

Settlements
On the river stand in the Kashar district: Verkhnegrekovo , 2nd Kievsky , Fomino-Svechnikovo , Sarinovka , in the Tarasovsky district - Bolshinka .
