Kunza , Kunza , is also known as the Atacameno language, the Atacamean language, Lycanthai, Lipe, ulipe - the unclassified language that was spoken by the people of the Lycanthane ( Atacameno ), who lived in the Atacama desert in northern Chile and southern Peru , and later switched to Spanish .

The last carrier of koons met with researchers in 1949. There is a dictionary of koons.
Terrence Kaufman (Kaufman, 1990) admits a kinship between the Kuns language and the unclassified Kapishan language.
