Yucca joined the band Nightwish in early 1997 and until 2014 was her drummer. Besides Nightwish, she also participates as a drummer in the Sethian band.

Biography
His career began at the age of eleven when he was in fifth grade. His music teacher at school said that a new music education program had been opened, and he believes that Yucca will fit in well as a drummer. He did not have a suitable place to study, and he made it at home. Yucca's first group was The Highway, but later, in 1997, he joined the Nightwish band, where he played unchanged until 2014, participating in both recording 8 studio albums and in concert activities.
Yucca temporarily left Nightwish due to chronic insomnia . His place was taken by the acquaintance of Yucca - drummer [1] .
On July 15, 2019, Nightwish released a press release [2] in which Yucca is officially recognized as the band's former drummer and will no longer be participating in concerts.
Family
He currently lives with his wife Satu, daughter Luna (born March 11, 2003 ) and son Nicky (born December 19, 2005 ) in Joensuu . On June 22, 2010, a message appeared on the Nightwish official website that Jukka became a father for the third time (a girl was born).
