Torpedo boats of the S-126 type are torpedo boats (according to the official classification of the German fleet - torpedo boats for the open sea), which was in service with the German Navy at the beginning of the 20th century and during the First World War . Continued development of the German "standard" destroyers of the Schihau company. In total, 6 destroyers of this type were built - S-126 - S-131 (all under the program of 1904 ). During the war years were renamed T-126 - T-131. One destroyer ( S-129 ) died during the First World War , another, the lead S-126 was seriously damaged and was later restored [1] .

On ships of the type, two three - cylinder steam engines (triple expansion) with a total capacity of 6400 liters were installed as power plants . with. and 3 naval boilers with a pressure of 16 atmospheres . The maximum fuel reserves on destroyers of this type amounted to 117 tons of coal .
Armament
Destroyers armed with three 50-mm guns with a barrel length of 40 calibers and a total ammunition of 252 rounds. Later, artillery weapons were replaced by 1x1 88-mm naval guns and 2x1 50-mm guns. Torpedo armament destroyers consisted of 3x1 450-mm torpedo tubes .
