Biography
He was a professor of mineralogy in Lund ; Significant insect collections collected by Fallen were taken over by the Stockholm Academy of Sciences .
Fallen's works deal mainly with the insect fauna of Sweden; of which the most important are: “Monographia Cimicum” ( Copenhagen , 1807 ); “Monographia Muscidum Suecіae” (L., 1820-25); "Hemiptera Sueciae" (L., 1826-29); "Monographia Tenthredimdum Sueciae" (L., 1829).
