Mass settlement of the region dates back to the 1940s. In the 1990s there was an outflow of the population.
- 1980 - 1847 people
- 1989 - 1997 people (demographic transition)
- 1990 - 1907 people
- 1992 - 900 people
The outflow of youth is observed, the birth rate is falling, the migration growth since 2004 is 0. Also, Nuoragana immediately experienced 1-2-3 demographic transitions. It follows that the population will continue to depopulate. Thanks to maternal capital, birth rates have recently begun to rise.
