Kok ( Thai. กก ) is a river in Myanmar and Thailand . The river is 285 km long.

The origins of the river are in the state of Shan in Myanmar. In Northern Thailand, Kok flows through the provinces of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai , where it flows into the Mekong .
Of the major cities on the river is Chiang Rai , which, according to legend , was founded in 1262 at the place where Mengrai the Great found his escaped elephant .
In episode 7 of season 21 of the Top Gear show, her presenters built a bridge over the Kok River.
