History

Founded in 1872 in the city of Nina (Neenah), Wisconsin , USA , by John Kimberly (John Kimberly) and Charles Clark (Charles Clark).

In 1920, the company's first product for consumers was invented - Kotex women's pads. Also in the 1920s, Kleenex facial wipes appeared. In addition, it is believed that the corporation was the first to invent toilet paper in rolls (1890), paper towels (1907) and disposable special clothing [1] .

Mergers and Acquisitions

In 1995, Kimberly-Clark completed the largest deal in its history - a merger with Scott Paper Company.

In the 2000s, the company took over several companies, in particular, the manufacturer of medical masks Tecnol (2000), the company Safeskin (a manufacturer of medical gloves), the company Ballard (a manufacturer of devices that help reduce pain after operations and injuries) [1] .
