Macedonski Kamenitsa ( Maked. Opshtina Makedonska Kamenitsa ) is a community in Northern Macedonia . Located in the northeastern part of the country near the border with Bulgaria , in the historical and geographical region of Osogoviya . The population is 8110 people ( 2002 ) [2] .

The administrative center is the city of Macedonian-Kamenitsa .
The area of the community is 190.37 km² [3] .
Bordered by the communities of Northern Macedonia:
- in the north-west - with the community of Kriva-Palanka ;
- in the west, with the Kochani community ;
- in the south, with the community of Vinitsa ;
- in the southeast - with the Delchevo community .
In the east it borders with the communities of Kyustendil and Nevestino of the Kyustendil region of Bulgaria .
In addition to the city of Macedonian-Kamenitsa, the community consists of 8 more villages [3] : Dulitsa , Kosievitsa , Kostin-Dol , Lukovitsa , Moshtitsa , Sasa , Todorovtsi and Tsera .
Ethnic structure of the population in the 2002 census community [2] :
- Macedonians - 8055 people;
- Serbs - 24 people;
- Gypsies - 14 people;
- Bosnians - 8 people;
- the rest - 9 people.
The Kamenitsa River (a tributary of the Bregalnitsa ) flows through the community .
