Biography
From childhood, she showed extraordinary abilities. Some works of Pavel Nikonov (including the famous "Fire") were written under the influence of her children's works. In 1986 she graduated from the Moscow secondary art school at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov , in 1992 - the theater and decorative department of this institute (workshop of Mikhail Kurilko-Ryumin ). Since 1988 , actively participated in youth, Moscow, republican and all-Union exhibitions. Since 1991 , a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. In 1992 - 1995 Fellow of the Russian Academy of Arts (PAX).
Having experienced the influence of her father’s creativity, she managed to overcome it and find her way in painting. Her searches are close to the artists of New Materiality , representatives of VKhUTEMAS , the picturesque traditions of abstract expressionism , and artists of the circle of Andrey Vasnetsov .
The world in which light prevails, the city - yellow, brown, white; mirrors, their reflections - this is the picturesque theme of Victoria Nikonova. Her painting stems from a desire to penetrate into the essence of the plastic form, to understand and convey the mechanism of interaction of the masses - material and light, from the collision of which a force tension is born [1] .
The author of the scenography of two performances at the Moscow Drama Theater. N.V. Gogol .

Quotes
- “Nikonova found, created her own, inherent in her and unlike any other, picturesque texture, her flesh of paint, smear. The entire space of her canvases, surprisingly beautiful in color, is richly crimson like a red-hot firebox; now pearly transparent like fog, then radiant golden, vibrates, lives, glows from within, acts primarily by force, the element of a pictorial language, organically inherent in painting as a kind of art, just like the language of sounds is inherent in the art of music ” [2 ] - M. Chegodaeva, 2009 .
Family
- Nikonov, Pavel Fedorovich - father, artist, painter , graphic artist .
