According to the results of the elections, the city mayor of Mariupol was elected for the third time in a row Yury Hotlubay . 62,216 voters, or 50.46%, were prosecuted for him. In second place with a result of 14,385 votes (11.67%), the candidate from the Front Zmin party, Alexander Yaroshenko . KPU candidate Grigory Pecherishny (9,543 votes - 7.74%) closes the top three candidate, the smallest number in Victor Sokruta - 203 votes (0.16%). 12 756 people did not support any of the candidates - 10.34%.
According to the results of the elections of the city council deputies from the parties (total - 38 seats from 76 deputies of the city council) representatives of the Party of Regions - 26 seats, KPU - 4 seats, " Front Zmin " - 4 seats, " Strong Ukraine " - 2 seats and SPU - 2 places. According to the results of the election of deputies of the city council for the majority system, representatives of the Party of Regions received all the seats (38). In the single-mandate majoritarian constituencies No. 39 and 40, the deputies of the Donetsk regional council elected Igor Nikolayevich Karapeychik (29,988 votes were cast from 63,922 voters who took part in the elections, 46.91%) and Nikolai Nikolayevich Tokarsky (Mariupol residents gave 30,392 votes for him out of 59,329 voters, 51.23%).

Results
На парламентских выборах 2007 года за Партию регионов проголосовало 42,6 % мариупольцев, за Социалистическую партию Украины 42,4 %, за Компартию Украины 4,1 % избирателей. Несмотря на огромную поддержку Соцпартии в Мариуполе (в одном из двух избирательных округов она даже получила более половины голосов), СПУ не прошла в парламент.

Выборы в городской совет
3-процентный барьер преодолели 3 партии и 1 избирательный блок:
- Партия регионов — получила 39,72 % голосов — 41 мандат в горсовете,
- Социалистическая партия Украины — получила 20,38 % голосов — 21 мандат в горсовете,
- Блок Натальи Витренко — получил 9,53 % голосов — 10 мандатов в горсовете,
- Коммунистическая партия Украины — получила 3,29 % голосов — 3 мандата в горсовете.
Как видно, все политические силы, кроме СПУ (читай — Ильичевцы), на местных выборах в Мариуполе получили меньший результат, чем на выборах в Верховную Раду Украины.
После окончания выборов Партия регионов и Блок Натальи Витренко заявили о создании большинства в горсовете (всего голосов — 52, то есть 69,3 %: 41 от Партии регионов, 10 от Блока Натальи Витренко плюс избранный городской голова, Хотлубей Юрий Юрьевич ). СПУ и КПУ заявили о своей оппозиции.
Председателями всех 12 постоянных комиссий горсовета стали представители большинства, кроме того представители большинства заняли все 15 мест исполкома горсовета, глав райадминистраций, заместителей городского головы, секретариат горсовета.

- Матвиенков, Сергей Анатольевич — номер 25 ( Социалистическая партия Украины , СПУ ) — представитель Мариупольский металлургический комбинат имени Ильича , 1957 года рождения.
- Белый, Алексей Петрович — номер 31 ( Партия Регионов Украины ) — бывший генеральный директор ОАО «Металлургический комбинат Азовсталь », 1961 года рождения, член Партии регионов.
- Савчук, Александр Владимирович — номер 32 ( Партия Регионов Украины ) — председатель правления, генеральный директор ОАО «Мариупольский завод тяжелого машиностроения» (« Азовмаш »), 1954 года рождения, член Партии регионов.
