Udalova Valeria Viktorovna (known under the pseudonym Valeria Pride) is a Russian public figure, one of the founders of the Russian transhumanist movement , member of the Coordinating Council of the Russian transhumanist movement, sociologist, futurologist [1] , theorist of transhumanism . One of the founders and CEO [2] of KrioRus , the first cryofirm created outside the United States .

Biography
She was born on May 23, 1960 in Ust-Kamchatsk , during and in the tsunami zone on May 23, 1960 [3] in the coastal village of RKZ-66 [4] in Kamchatka . The tsunami was caused by the Great Chilean earthquake .
Maiden name - Kiyanova, surname in 1984 - Ilyina.
In 1984 she graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology , Department of Management and Applied Mathematics, majoring in Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics.
Valeria Pride is the author of the fantasy Cauda Draconis novel, whose heroes seek immortality. The novel was written in 2002, published in samizdat.
In 2005, she participated in the creation of the Russian transhumanist movement , and in 2006 - the firm KrioRus . Member of the Coordinating Council of the Russian Transhumanist Movement. Actively appears in the media with articles on futurology, transhumanism , cryonics , immortalism .
In autumn 2006, Valeria Pride was one of the first among Russian scientists to raise the issue of creating a nanoassembler , speaking at the international forum "Projects of the Future" with a report "Nanoassembler as a priority national mega-project of Russia" [5] .
In 2007, Valeria Pride held a round table "The Impact of Science on the Political Situation in Russia: A Look into the Future" in the State Duma of the Russian Federation [6] .
In January 2008, Valeria Pride subjected her 15-year-old domestic dog, suffering from cancer and suffered a stroke, to cryonymization [7] .
In 2008, Pride recorded a unique video lecture course “Human Modification in the 21st Century” on SSU TV . In May of that year, Valeria Pride participated as a visiting expert in the federal project “ Russian House of the Future ”. In 2008 and 2009, she worked as a scientific consultant to the Science for Life Extension Foundation .
Since October 2008, she has been combining work at KrioRus with research work in the project Systematic Scheme of Human Aging .
In July 2009, she headed the only Russian cryocompany KrioRus operating outside the United States.
Mother of three children, including Daria Khalturina .
