Enrique Fernández Viola ( Spanish: Enrique Fernández Viola ; June 10, 1912 [1] , Montevideo - October 6, 1985 ) - Uruguayan football player and coach of Catalan origin . He played for the Nacional , Independiente and Barcelona teams. At the international level, played for the national teams of Uruguay and Catalonia . Fernandez's football career was interrupted due to the civil war , during which he was at home in Montevideo , and the club advised him not to come to Spain. At the coaching level, Fernandez led Nacional , Barcelona , Real Madrid , Colo Colo , Real Betis , Gimnasia and Esgrima and the Uruguayan national team.
