Geographical location

The village is located on the Gorodonka River - a tributary of the Chernaya River, in the north-west of the district, 5 km north-west of the administrative center of the district - the village of Batetskiy and 2 km south of the village of Chernaya .

Economics

CJSC Sadko, the former collective farm “Way to Happiness”, specializes in dairy farming [2] .

History and Attractions

According to the statistics on the national economy of the Luga district of 1891, the estate in the village of Gorodnya with an area of ​​231 tithes belonged to nobles M.V. and S.V. Vsevolozhsky [3] .
