Four of the six songs included in the EP are cover versions , the remaining two (by Nirvana ) previously appeared as bi-sides for the singles of the album Nevermind .

Aneurysm and Even in His Youth were formerly members of the single Smells Like Teen Spirit . This version of Aneurysm also appeared on disc 2 of the box with With the Lights Out and is significantly different from the one that was released on Incesticide .

“Turnaround” (a cover for Devo ), “Son of a Gun” and “Molly's Lips” (covers for The Vaselines ) were also included on the Incesticide album.

"D-7" is a cover version of the song by The Wipers , appeared on the British version of the single " Lithium ", and later on on disc 2 of the set with The Lights Out in 2004.

1992

In Australia, the EP was released in a print run of 15,000 copies: 4,000 on 12 " vinyl records, 10,000 on CDs and 1,000 on tape cassettes .

In Japan, the album was released only on CD with a circulation of about 22,000 copies. The two releases were completely different in design, and therefore the Australian version is considered a rarity. There are a large number of counterfeit Australian 12 " vinyl records and CDs . All vinyl records with the cover of the Japanese edition are fakes.

2011

Hormoaning was officially reissued on Music Store Day (April 16, 2011) on 12 " vinyl records with a circulation of 6,000 copies.

In Japan: from February 5, 1992, 5 weeks, 22,730 copies
