Biography
The son of D.N. Nabokov , the younger brother of the founder of the cadet party, also a lawyer V.D. Nabokov , the uncle of the famous writer V.V. Nabokov .
He graduated from the law faculty of St. Petersburg University . He began his service in 1894 at the Ministry of Justice . In September 1896 he was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 1905, he was a member of the Russian delegation at the peace talks in Portsmouth .
Since 1906 - First Secretary of the Russian Mission in Belgium. Since 1910 - First Secretary of the Embassy in Washington . In 1912-1915 - Consul General of Russia in Calcutta. In 1916 he was sent as an adviser to the embassy in Great Britain.
Since May 1917, he temporarily managed the embassy, remaining in the position of adviser with the personal assignment of the title of ambassador extraordinary. After the October Revolution, dismissed.
After the resignation he lived in Norway. He died in London in 1927.
