Krabi is one of the main beach holiday centers in Thailand. The province also includes the islands of Phi Phi , where the famous film " Beach " was shot. The coastal part of Krabi did not suffer after the 2004 tsunami , since most of the islands located on the tsunami path extinguished the wave.
Krabi (accent on the last syllable) - the southern province of Thailand, located on the shores of the Andaman Sea, has become famous throughout the world for its beauty. The name is derived from the Thai word "crabs", which means a sword and, contrary to widespread misconception, has nothing to do with crabs.
