It is located in the central part of the region, 7.5 km south-east of the city of Safonov , 5.5 km south of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Kamenka River. 4 km north-east of the village is the Maksimovo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line . It is part of the Pushkin rural settlement.

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in September 1941 , liberated in 1943 . [2]
