Bykovo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Safonovsky district . Population - 9 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . Located in the central part of the region, 11 km south-east of the city of Safonov , 8 km south of the Belarus highway M1 , on the bank of the River Peremcha. 6 km north of the village Vyshegor railway station on the line Moscow - Minsk . Included in the Pushkin rural settlement.

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by the Nazi troops in September 1941 , liberated in 1943 . [2]
