Milyutino is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Safonovsky district . The population is 0 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region, 20 km southeast of the city of Safonov , 11 km south of the Belarus highway M1 , on the banks of the Malaya Kostria river. 8 km north of the village is Izdeshkovo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line . It is part of the Ignatkovsky rural settlement.

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in September 1941, liberated in 1943. [2] In the battles for her release, the entire 4th company of the 1350th rifle regiment of the 234th rifle division perished; the enemy also suffered heavy losses - only sniper N. Palmin destroyed 247 invaders. [3]
