Antal Faber ( Hungarian Faber Antal , also Antonius or Antonin Faber , Latin Antonius Faber ; July 18, 1772 , Presburg , - April 25, 1854 ) - Austro-Hungarian economist and statistician .

Biography

He studied in Buda, including with Daniel Kornides , then in Gyor . In 1801-1804 taught in Nagyvarad , in 1804-1841. Professor of World and European History at Presburg. Since 1846, retired.

  • Theoria statisticae ( 1817 );
  • "Compendium statisticae imperii aust." ( 1808 );
  • Institutiones statisticae ( 1819 );
