Soakeskus ( Fin. Itäkeskus ) is a shopping center located in the Ityakeskus district of Helsinki near the metro station of the same name . It is one of the largest shopping centers in Northern Europe , covers an area of about 96.3 thousand m², includes about 240 different stores (including about 30 cafes and restaurants), as well as parking for 3 thousand cars. One of the exits of the Ityakeskus metro station goes into this shopping complex.

The shopping center is divided into 4 sections: Pasaasi, Pikku-Bulevardi, Bulevardi and Piazza. The building of the shopping center has 5 floors. Shops occupy mainly the first two floors, offices and parking are located higher. The largest stores in the complex are: Stockmann , Anttila , and H&M , CUBUS , MR BIG , clasohlson , MANGO , ESPIRIT , Zara , SEPPÄLÄ , Lidl , TARJOUSTALO , SAITURIN PÖRSSI , CITYMARKET , S-MARKET , SUOMALAINEN KIRAPHAPAPA , KIRJAPAPA , TOPAPA , KIRJAHPAUPA , TOPA , KIRAPA , TOPA Intersport , STADIUM , K-KENGÄ , R-kioski .
The shopping center was built in three stages. The Pasaasi section was built in 1984 and was then called Itämarket ("East Market") and included 41 stores. A new shopping center expanded to 160 stores (sections Bulevardi and Pikku-Bulevardi) was built in 1992. The latest Piazza extension was opened in 2001.
