Chemical pumps

Chemical pumps - designed for pumping various corrosive liquids.

In this group are combined pumps of pumping liquids, various in design, which are different in their chemical properties from ordinary water. These are mainly chemically active liquids, and according to the degree of their aggressiveness, as well as depending on other properties of the pumped liquid (density, temperature, abrasivity, etc.), the material of the flow part and the design of the pump are determined.

It should be noted that for parts of the flow part, gray cast iron is practically not used in the production of chemical pumps, as it is not resistant to aggressive media or “pollutes” the pumped liquid with iron ions. In addition, according to the specifications, chemical pumps must allow a significant pressure on the suction, and gray cast iron, as a rule, does not provide this condition.

Application

  • chemical industry
  • petrochemical industry (pumping acids, alkalis, petroleum products)
  • paint and varnish industry (paints, varnishes, solvents, etc.)
  • food industry .

Pump types

  • Horizontal pumps.
  • Vertical pumps - designed for stationary installation on the tank with direct immersion in the tank, they are driven by a direct-drive electric motor used for rapid pumping of fluid.
  • Barrel pumps - designed for pumping both neutral and aggressive liquids from barrels, containers, baths and other containers. Pumps are simple and easy to use.
  • Peristaltic Pumps
