Perugia ( Italian. Associazione Calcistica Perugia Calcio ) is an Italian football club from the city of the same name in the province of the same name located in the Umbria region . In the seasons 1999/2000 and 2000/01, Dmitry Alenichev played for Perugia.

Founded in 1905 . Recently, the team played mainly in Serie A , in 2004 the team “flew out” in Serie B, and in 2005 went bankrupt. From 2005 to 2010, the reconstructed Perugia played in the C1 Series .
In May 2010, the club was declared bankrupt and two months later deprived of professional status. As a result, the team was excluded from the system of professional leagues of Italy [1] .

Interesting Facts
In the 1978/1979 season, Perugia, under the leadership of club president Franco D'Attoma ( Italian: Franco D'Attoma ), did not lose a single match in Serie A. This achievement was repeated only by Milan in the 1991/1992 and Juventus season. in the 2011/2012 season.
