Soligalichsky lime-lime combination is one of the largest lime plants in Russia, located in the village of Turovka, Soligalichsky district, Kostroma region . The main specialization is the production of lime , mineral powder and limestone (dolomite) flour. It is connected by an access railway line to the Soligalich station of the Monza railway . History
Soligalichsky lime plant is located in the north-west of the Kostroma region, 250 kilometers from Kostroma and 5 km from the city of Soligalich . It was founded in 1961 to meet the needs of the Kostroma Silicate Plant with building lime. The commissioning of the first facilities was carried out in 1967 . In 1968, the plant produced the first batch of limestone flour. In 1973, the first lime-kiln with a capacity of 200 tons per day was built. In 1975, the second similar furnace was commissioned. In 1994, at the plant, at the expense of own funds and investor funds - Ammofos JSC - new capacities for the production of construction lime were commissioned, which allowed to increase its production to 600 tons per day.
In November 1992, the state enterprise "Soligalichsky lime plant" was transformed into an open joint stock company.
Activities
The estimated capacity of the plant as of 2008 was 195 thousand tons of construction lime and 150 thousand tons of limestone flour per year.
Over the past years, the market for products has gone beyond the Kostroma region, and today the partners of the plant are enterprises of the Yaroslavl , Vologda , Kirov and Arkhangelsk regions. One of the largest consumers is Ammophos JSC (Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast) - the largest producer of ammonium phosphate fertilizers in Russia.
The consumers of limestone flour were previously agricultural enterprises, now the proportion of road-building and road-repairing enterprises is increasing.
Structure
To ensure the normal functioning of the main production shops, the plant has a mechanical repair workshop, a production boiler room, storage rooms, access roads, a fuel and lubricant warehouse, and garages. The plant is provided with manpower, has a sufficient number of qualified personnel and engineering workers. There are sufficient reserves of raw materials, fuel, fuel and lubricants. The plant has all the necessary permissions and licenses of regulatory organizations to ensure normal and safe operation.
In the summer of 2007, the plant celebrated its 40th anniversary. In the same year, for the first time in the history of the plant, the design capacity of the lime-calcining workshop was cut off. It is more than 600 tons per day during the operation of 3 furnaces. So in July 2007 a record amount of lime was released - 20.3 thousand tons of construction lime. The record year for the production of lime - 2006, - 213.9 thousand tons were produced. A total of 4,115.3 thousand tons of lime was produced in 1973-2006. The production of limestone flour for the same period amounted to 3620 thousand tons.
