Biography

Club career

His father, uncle and brother played football. They played in the Second League of Serbia . At first Boyan played the striker. The coach of Vojvodina put him in the position of defender, where he moved at the age of 18. He had offers from foreign clubs - Moscow Dynamo , Bulgarian Litex , Yugoslav Zemun . But in the end, he ended up in Donetsk Metallurg . The last club, which Metallurg literally took away from under the nose of a young talent, was the grand Serbian football - Crvena Zvezda. Shakhtar was rented in August 2003 for six months. For Shakhtar, he played 3 matches in the Cup of Ukraine . In 2005, it was rented for a year by Wolfsburg . Team Career

He played at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship , which was held in Germany almost simultaneously with the 2004 European Championship. He made his debut for the national team in a small friendly tournament in Japan . It lasted only six days, and following the results of the matches the team took second place. He also participated in the 2004 Olympics , where he spent all three failed games in the group against Tunisia , Australia and Argentina .
