Biography

Tatyana Kurbakova was born on August 7, 1986 in Moscow .

In favor of MGFSO , trade unions and Dynamo in Moscow. She has been engaged in artistic gymnastics since she was 5 years old. In 1991 , she began studying with coach Elena Karpushenko at the Palace of Sports “ Labor Reserves ”. In 2000 she was enrolled in the youth team of Moscow in group exercises. In 2001 she was invited to the Russian national team in group exercises. He trains under the guidance of trainers V. Ivanitskaya and T. Vasilyeva. Works as a trainer in rhythmic gymnastics at the Krylya Sovetov sports school.

She participated in the international TV show “ Great Race ” for the Russian national team.

  • 2000 - Championship of Russia, Moscow team - 2 place in group exercises (Moscow)
  • 2001 - Russian Championship, Moscow team - 1st place in the individual competition (Moscow)

  • 2004 - Olympic champion in group exercises (Athens)
