Content
Story
In the estate of the landowner Belokurov, the famous artist ( Sergey Yakovlev ) lives idly. One day he meets the Volchaninov family living in the neighborhood, in which two daughters: the eldest (Lida), a serious and strict girl with convictions who tries to help ordinary people and does not really like the artist for his idleness, and the youngest (Zhenya, or Misha) who soon became interested in the artist. The artist also falls in love with Zhenya, and Lida destroys their happiness ...
