The population is 5 inhabitants (2007) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region, 20 km east of the city of Safonov , near the M1 "Belarus" highway. 6 km south-east of the village is Izdeshkovo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in September 1941, liberated in 1943 [2] .
