Content
Story
The film tells about one day the head of the trust "Energomontazh" Boris Dmitrievich Ivanov. The day of reception of employees on personal matters is also the last day of the half year. The plan for putting new energy capacities into operation is on fire, and the trust needs to keep the rolling red banner . During this busy day, Ivanov has to deal with various situations, as a result of which, in the late evening, he rethinks a lot, realizing that the basis of all his industrial victories and achievements are not just employees, but specific people, each of which is primarily a person. And in their interests, he goes into conflict with the chief of the central board and his patron, whom he asked for help in the implementation of the quarterly plan in the morning.

Shooting
The full-scale shooting of the film took place in Moscow (the entrance to the trust, its facade is the entrance to the former Khomyakov apartment building at 3/6 Petrovka St. , the place where the Office Romance was later filmed; in the Moscow basin ; building on Novinsky Lane, d. 36/9 (from the office window you can see the building of the US Embassy , the bell tower of the temple of the Nine Martyrs of Kizichesky, Kalininsky Prospekt )) and at the industrial sites of Hrazdan and Slavyanskaya state district power plants .
