Story
After Sadako’s spirit calmed down and the secret of the video cassette was revealed, the husband of the television journalist Reiko Asakawa, Ryuji Takayama, suddenly dies in terrible torment.
To understand the cause of death, the police instructed an autopsy to be carried out to a friend. Gradually investigating, he learns about a strange video tape and destroys the copies, but the curse remains ... and the spirits begin to come to life.
Production
In an unpopular production move, Bell and Spiral were released simultaneously. The producers hoped that this would lead to an increase in revenue. Films were made by the same producers and the same actors, but with different screenwriters and directors.
The director and screenwriter Joji Iida was also the co-author of The Call: Screenplay: Full Version.
