Story
Sometimes at weddings there is a little trouble. For Susan Murphy, it was such a nuisance to get hit by a multi-ton meteorite . The substance inside the cob gave it white hair, super-strength, and gigantic growth. The military structures caught her, put them to sleep and sent them to a secret base, at which four monsters had already passed the time: the Missing Link, the Insectosaurus, B. O. B. and Dr. Tarakan.
As it turned out, a four-eyed alien Galaktozar, who sent a huge one-eyed robot to retrieve it, hunts for a substance that got into Susan and is called quantonium. To overcome the steel monster, it was decided to release monsters against him. The robot is defeated, and Galaktozar has to personally arrive for Quantonium on Earth.
Galaktozar takes Susan to his ship, takes quantoniums out of her, so she returns to her former size and loses super strength. Further, the alien wants to populate the Earth with its clones. This time, the monsters disembark on the ship, free Susan, and Dr. Tarakan hacks the main computer , which starts the mechanism for the destruction of the space ship Galaktozar. In the final battle with Galaktozar, Susan regains strength and growth by swallowing up the quantons, and rescues herself and the monsters. The ship is destroyed, the Earth is saved, and the five are waiting for a new task where Susan dreamed of visiting - in Paris.
The scene after the credits: in a secret base, President Hathaway takes General Voyaker into the state. He asks for coffee, but the president accidentally presses the button to call for nuclear missiles. The president orders to go to the bomb shelter for 500 years, and then turns to the audience with the question: “Who will freeze my brain?”.
Characters
- Susan Murphy (Gigantika) ( Eng. Susan Murphy / Ginormica ) is the main character of the cartoon, a sweet and shy girl, on whom a meteorite filled with quantonium (the most powerful substance in the Universe) falls on her wedding day with Derek Ditel. Susan absorbs the power of Quantonium, with the result that grows the size of a five-story house, about 15-20 meters. At first, she does not perceive herself as a monster and desperately wants to return to her former life. After a series of incredible events with other monsters, Susan gets used to her gigantic growth and superpower, and understands a lot about herself and her relationship with Derek.
- The Missing Link is the human fish, the missing link between prehistoric fish and prehistoric man. It was taken aback by the Ice Age at the time of evolution, when it emerged from the water on land (in other words, it froze). 20 thousand years later, scientists melted the ice, but did not keep track of their important discovery. The fish-man escaped and attempted to return to his usual habitat. After many years spent in the secret laboratory , he is still a self-confident macho, although he has lost a little physical form. Despite this, the Missing Link bravely rushes to the attacks and drags the monster squad along. Likes to scare girls on the beaches. Swims well
- B. O. B. (Benzoate Ostilizin Bicarbonate) ( born BOB ) - shapeless and gelatinous, with a single eye, similar to the slide B. OB - The result of the crossing of genetically modified tomatoes and dessert mayonnaise, stuffed with chemicals. This is an invincible creature with an incredible appetite. B.O.B. has no brain, but he is the heart of the company, although, technically, he does not have a heart either. Perhaps he is not the most prominent monster, but in the end the most ingenious plan ripens from him.
- Dr. Tarakan ( eng. Dr. Cockroach Ph.D. ) - during the experiment, the purpose of which was to give people the cockroach the ability to survive, the device fails (as is usually the case). The brilliant brain of a scientist remains intact, but now he is in the head of a cockroach . Dr. Tarakan, half human, half insect, is incredibly refined and courteous, if he is not distracted by spoiled food debris. He invents and constructs ingenious adaptations that still have “small” side effects. PhD in dance.
- Insectosaurus (Butterfly Wharf) ( eng. Insectosauraus ) - nuclear radiation has turned a tiny caterpillar into a hundred-meter monster who sharpened his teeth on skyscrapers in Tokyo . Due to its incredible size and ability to produce silk from the nostrils, it is simply indispensable in the fight against aliens. He speaks with inarticulate cries, similar to those of Godzilla , which only his guardian, the Missing Link, can understand. As a result of a shot from the Galaktazar spacecraft, the Insectosaurus pupates and transforms into a giant butterfly (Butterfly Rex).
- Derek Ditl ( born Derek Dietl ) - the groom Susan. Leads weather forecasts on the local TV channel, and dreams of news releases on the main thing. He rejects a honeymoon in Paris in favor of an interview in Northern California . In the end, Susan throws it.
- Galaktazar ( eng. Gallaxhar ) - the main villain of the cartoon. Alien, half-humanoid, polukalmar. He destroyed his own planet and now wants to enslave someone else's, in order to build on it the world of his clones. He wanders around the galaxy in search of a suitable planet, as well as quantium. Only with the help of this substance, he can complete his villainous plan to capture the universe.
- General Voyaker ( born General Warren. R. Monger ) - a rude and grumbling general attaches importance only to actions - words do not play a role for him. He keeps his monsters locked up, initially not knowing why. But when Galaktazar lands on Earth, the general launches them into action. Always has a parachute with him.
- President Hathaway ( Eng. President Hathaway ) - not serious, with dignity, stupid, does not want to go down in history as the president, in which the Earth was destroyed. Therefore, he quickly agrees to the proposal of General Voyaker to expose monsters against aliens. If they win, the president will look like a genius, but if they lose, no one will miss them. Very frightened Gigantica when he saw her for the first time. I made them create buttons that are completely similar - two large and red buttons - one launches nuclear weapons, the second - makes coffee.
- Mrs. Ronnson ( eng. Mrs Ronnson ) - the secretary who carries coffee. During the presentation of the monsters at each of them screaming.
