Skeleton competitions at the 2010 Winter Olympics were held on February 18 and 19 . Two sets of awards were played.
Four of the six winners of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin took part in the competition, but they were all left without medals. Representatives of Germany, Latvia and Russia for the first time won Olympic medals in this sport.
