Coat of arms of Svyatogorsk

It was approved by the Svyatogorsk City Council on July 15, 2003 . The authors of the coat of arms Oleg Zhidchenko and Andrey Vitalievich Zakoretsky developed the coat of arms throughout the year. The cost of developing the coat of arms was paid by one of the private enterprises.

Shield of the coat of arms of Svyatogorsk - Spanish, green. This color symbolizes the recreational value of Svyatogorsk, the national park " Holy Mountains ".

The shield has a blue tip . It symbolizes the river Seversky Donets . The extremity ends with a straight line, not with a wavy line, and this symbolizes that Donets is a calm river.

Five silver cones are depicted in the center of the coat of arms. They symbolize the Donetsk chalk rock , which also consists of five parts.

A cross of golden color is depicted above the central cone. This cross as a symbol of holiness points to the name "Holy Mountains" and Svyatogorsk Lavra .

The shield is crowned with a city crown. He has two shield holders . The right shield holder is the Cossack of the Izyumsky Sloboda regiment , the left shield holder is the watchman, the fifth Svyatogorsk watchman of the Moscow state .

The heads of the shield holders are turned away from the coat of arms. This symbolizes that they are vigilant and tirelessly guarding.

Under the emblem is a motto ribbon of green color, on which the name of the city "Svyatogorsk" is written in white.
