The winners of the Finnish Eurovision qualifying round, who took first place with a significant margin. “Lose Control” immediately became a hit on Finnish radio, and after the group won the Eurovision qualifying round, the corresponding video on YouTube was watched by half a million people only for a week. The leader of the group, Waldo (aka Marko Rajonen), has been known as one of the leading dance producers in Finland for more than ten years. He has 4 albums sold in gold . As a rule, he works in collaboration with Swedish producer of Finnish origin, Ari Lehtonen. This duet, whose fruitful collaboration has already lasted for more than 10 years, created the hit “Lose Control”.
The peak of the popularity of Waldo and Waldo's People came at the end of the 90s. In 2008, Waldo's People released their first new song “Back Again” in a few years, which won first place in the Finnish dance and digital chart. There was a stir around the band again - tickets for their concert tour were sold out instantly.
Ari Lehtonen also produced the new Waldo's People Paranoid album, which was released in Finland in February. Like its best-selling predecessors, this is a melodic and energetic europop with cheerful positive songs harmoniously flowing into one another.
